Miller Farm

Sister to the Goose Rocks Barn, this 40’ x 60’ clear span Douglas Fir timber frame was built as an extension to the historic 1767 Miller farmhouse in Kennebunkport, Maine. The modified Howe truss assembly allows for clear span storage space below, while providing intentional room to expand in the upper story. Scarfed top plates, swung all 60 feet at once, and continuous 40 foot floor beams create an impressive visual structure.
